William Storms is an artist and weaver based in Brooklyn, NY. His Refract series introduces unexpectedly modern interventions to home textile design. Applying this duality to the loom, Storms created refined compositions using traditional passementerie techniques, weaving bright synthetic materials into a contrasting natural palette of jute, cotton, linen, silk, and eucalyptus. The Refract series encompasses six one-of-a-kind wall hangings of modest proportions in various colorways.
