Inspired to bring an element of the three-dimensional to a typically two-dimensional object, Elena Frampton designed Undercover using a trompe l’oeil effect. The design marries optical illusion with traditional ornamentation, as a floral-patterned rug appears to peel back from the floor at opposing corners, offering both a decorative and architectural statement within interior space.
